Until recently, I was a Trustee of the Children's Wood Charity (SC045378), and helped run the Outdoor Learning Club for young children which is held on North Kelvin Meadow every Saturday.

 

The Children's Wood began as a community group which was keen to increase the opportunties for outdoor play and learning for children in the area; and, alongside others in the community, has been fighting for several years to save North Kelvin Meadow from development.

 

The Children's Wood are always looking for volunteers to get involved in the many events organised on the meadow, as well as the campaign to secure the meadow for the community.
